SBOC Governance
Established in 2019 and registered as a Public Limited Company in 2023 under Reg No: PLC-8KSLPG. Kenya. Tax Compliance No: P052292102L. SBOC is governed by a three-tier approach of a network of board of directors, trustees, and Ambassadors Leadership Council. The Board of Directors consist of 4 thematic
Directors who form a membership of the governorship committee. The trustees who comprise a mix of the other two tiers comprise also representative from the partners and stakeholders. The Ambassadors Leadership Council is a collection of the leaders/Chairpersons of the 48 SBOC self Help Groups, who nominate 12 members to join in the governance panel.
The SBOC Governance, leadership, accountability, and policy drive committee comprises of the 4 officers, 3 trustees and the 12 nominated Ambassadors Leaders. Then the Founder and Executive Director who forms the membership of the trust is oversee the management of each SBOC staff under each thematic area.
